Traveling with your kids can be overwhelming, especially if it is your first time. Even though it gets easier when you do it more often, you’re still going to run into a few challenges any time you travel with kids. This is especially true if you’ll visit a city like Dubai because there are a lot of things to do and places to see in Dubai.

Being prepared and knowing what you are getting into are two of the most important things to keep in mind to make family travel go smoothly. Aside from that, here are other helpful tips:

1. Don’t Overpack

Families have a tendency to pack everything kids use at home. This is because of the mindset that bringing these items will keep their routines consistent and they’ll be sure to have everything they need.

3. Research for the attractions you want to visit

Before you travel, make a list of all the activities you want to do and the places you want to visit in the city. One of the most recommended play areas for kids when in the UAE, especially if you are in Dubai is the Fun City inside Mercato Mall.

Fun City is an ideal play area for kids between 1-12 years old.  They have this “Fun n Learn” area where children age 0-4 can do activities which helps in their mental and physical development. Additionally, they also have an area called “PlayZone” which provides a safe and secure place to slide, run, climb, jump around and enjoy.
